One-on-one physical therapy

Physical therapy for people who want more than temporary relief.

You may not think of yourself as injured. You may simply know that lifting feels different, your back keeps tightening up or something is limiting the way you train, work or move. Flex Point helps you understand why and gives you a plan built around the life you want to return to.

A different kind of PT visit

Your appointment is one-on-one with Michael Donohue, PT, DPT. There is no crowded treatment room, no handoff to an aide and no generic circuit chosen before you arrive. Your first visit includes time to talk through your history, assess relevant movement, strength and mobility and identify the most useful starting point. Mike explains what may be contributing to the problem, how each part of the plan connects to your goal and what to work on next.

Who this is for

Flex Point commonly works with people dealing with persistent aches, recurring setbacks, difficulty returning to exercise, reduced confidence after injury or a movement that simply does not feel right. You do not have to wait until a limitation becomes a major injury to address it.

What treatment may include

Care may combine movement assessment, education, manual therapy, dry needling when appropriate, mobility work, progressive strengthening and a focused home plan. Treatment tools support the larger goal rather than serving as the entire solution.

Serving the Chippewa Valley

Appointments are available in Chippewa Falls at the Flex Point location inside Hybrid Fitness and through Mike’s work with Balanced Living Holistic Services. Flex Point serves people from Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Lake Hallie and surrounding Chippewa Valley communities.
